I recently bought this 1988 Ebbtide Dyna Trak 196 SS with an Evinrude 225 2 stroke. The hull is in really good shape and I was able to get the motor to fire up briefly after I got it home.  The interior is in rough shape except for the seats which are dirty but very recently upholstered. It is going to be a bigger project but hopefully a very satisfying one!

Today I made a giant mess. The floor was soft in quite a few places and beginning to rot, so I have to rip it all up and replace it. There is a layer of fiberglass over all the wood which makes it extra annoying to do so. Some of the really bad spots could be broken by hand but for most of it I used a circular saw and a reciprocating saw. I cut chunks without damaging the stringers or foam underneath and then used a pry bar to peel each piece out. Luckily for me the supports are completely intact with no rot and the foam isn't waterlogged.

I got most of the floor taken out. The portions closest to the fiberglass frame were extremely difficult and I ended up having to drill holes to weaken the area and use a hammer to break the wood up. I also went ahead and cleaned up as much as I could with the shop vac.
